Most Reverend Archbishops, Bishops, Priests, Religious and people of God,
This is a respectful and humble greeting from the Office of Social Communications, CBCM, Yangon.
May we wish you also “Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia! Happy Easter!”
After the celebration of the Easter season we will celebrate again the Ascension of the Lord Jesus, which is marked as World Communications Day. As we have presented to the Bishops’ Conference repeatedly the processes of reorganization and its developments of Social Communications Commissions may we continue to ask your blessings for the celebration, in a special manner, of the forth coming of “48th World Communications Day” in your respective Archdioceses and Dioceses. Your pastoral letter is very important to encourage the parish priests and faithful besides the exultation letter from National office of Social Communications.
Theme: “Communication at the Service of an Authentic Culture of Encounter”

- To help us to feel closer to one another, creating a sense of the unity of the human family
- To make Social Communication known more and meaningfully
- To have special collection for Social Communication Day.
May the resin LORD Jesus encourage and strengthen us in all our activities.
In the service of the
Bishop Peter Hla ( President)
